Kent’s parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, skate park, nature trails, walking/bike trails, river access, and ponds all remain open for hiking, biking, skateboarding, sports play, in-river play, fishing, birdwatching and whatever activity you enjoy in the great outdoors.
Our parks have always served as places to get away and rejuvenate your mind and spirit. Kent Parks and Recreation has over 350 acres of park land and many locations are an easy walk for residents in our community. We encourage everyone to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, enjoy nature and explore the sights and sounds of the natural world.
Our park and recreation professionals are still working hard to keep the parks safe, clean, accessible and a benefit to our community during these trying times. We are concerned about your health so honor hand washing, social distancing, mask wearing when appropriate and all of the other safety precautions recommended by health officials.
Keep your spirits high and get outside.
Visit the Kent Parks and Recreation website for a map of all park locations.
