If you are vaccinated, you may still need to follow public health guidance for reducing the spread of COVID-19 such as washing your hands frequently, wearing a mask and social istancing when appropriate. Until more people are vaccinated, we must continue to practice these safe public health measures. Booster shots provide an extra level of immunity for those populations that are at risk for more severe COVID-19 symptoms and outcomes. Currently, only certain people are eligible for a booster shot.
